in collaboration with Patrick Melroy, created for Real Presence 10, Belgrade, Serbia and executed at the Military Museum, Belgrade. 

Standing at the entrance to the nearly pitch-black space, my collaborator and I distributed flashlights so that visitors could see the relics and remnants of various wars-- from cannons and cannon balls to twisted hulks of shrapnel. People had the potential to use the lights to essentially destroy other artist’s projects that relied on the darkness of the space, but instead they used them for play and exploration.
